Microsoft Paint will make Photoshop look like Photoshop

Microsoft is preparing to introduce remarkable features for its new AI-powered Paint and Photos applications for Copilot Plus PCs. These new tools aim to reduce visual creators’ reliance on Adobe Photoshop and similar more powerful image editing software.

Adobe Photoshop-inspired ‘Generative Fill’ and ‘Generative Erase’ features are being integrated into Microsoft Paint. These tools allow users to add objects of their choice to their images or easily remove existing objects.

These new features aim to simplify image editing and provide a user-friendly experience. A size-adjustable brush allows users to select areas of the image to edit. In addition, the ‘Generative Erase’ feature has the ability to erase unwanted figures, background clutter and other distracting objects.
